Global Research
Much of our global research occurs in priority areas of the WashU strategic plan, such as global public health, digital transformation and environmental research. Enhanced seed funding, workshops and visiting scholars incubate collaborations that make a different in people’s lives at home and abroad.

Global Incubator Seed Grants Program
$25,000 per seed grant
The Global Incubator Seed Grant program enables WashU researchers to pursue international collaboration in priority areas of the university’s strategic plan, such as global public health, digital transformation, and environmental research.
International Distinguished Visiting Scholars
$10,000 per visiting scholar
An opportunity for International Distinguished Visiting Scholars enables global experts from academia, business, public policy, and creative fields to visit campus for short periods of time.
Global Footprint
We are undertaking a strategy that prioritizes meaningful engagement in strategically chosen regions around the globe. Your support ensures we can expand our footprint and build reputation oversees.
