Roumy supports the vice provost for graduate education and international affairs by providing strategic counsel and programmatic support on key WashU international priorities and partnerships. She oversees seed grants initiatives that foster collaborative research, facilitates international programs-related data collection and assessment, provides support for university events that advance discussions of world affairs on campus and continuous guidance on new resources to support global work.
Prior to joining WashU, Roumy worked at Harvard University where she managed core programs at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies. Before that, she conducted research on issues with a nexus of technology and international affairs at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. She is passionate about international affairs and public policy and fostering collaboration across disciplines and cultures. She enjoys bringing people together to build partnerships in national and international settings. Roumy earned a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and her undergraduate degree in Government from Harvard. Originally from Bulgaria, she has also lived in Belgium and the UK.
